How to use the AI Story Generator

This free AI Story Generator from DreamGen helps you develop stories based on your own ideas and suggestions.

1. Create a Scenario

The first step is to come up with a scenario. A scenario is the blueprint for your story. It can be as simple or as detailed as you like. Describe the plot and / or the setting of the story, and add characters if you want to.

2. Generate the Story

Press "Start Story": the AI Story Writer writes the first paragraphs of your story. Press the "Continue" button below the story to have it keep writing. You can also press Tab twice at the end of the story.

Out of ideas? Press "Suggest Next Steps" and pick one of the directions the AI suggests.

3. Edit the Story

You can edit the generated story as much as you like. Add text, remove text or just change a few words.

4. Use Instructions to Steer the Story

If you want to guide the AI Story Writer, you can use instructions. Press the "Instruction" button and type in what you want the AI Story Writer to do next. Here are some examples:

  • "Harry decides to go to the library and confront Snape."
  • "Hermione uses the Amortentia Love Potion to..."
  • "Gojo uses his Domain Expansion to..."

Depending on how fast paced you want the story to be, you can also specify the number of words over which the events should transpire, for example:

  • "In the next 200 words: Sakura and Naruto go to the onsen and..."
